Flow seeking Barbadian content for Sports channel

As Barbadian viewers become more aware of sports through their smartphones in addition to tablets or traditional TV, the need for local content increases and one provider is making a clarion call for producers to come forward and offer programmes and features to fill the void.

In a press conference marking Flow's commitment to the 26th Olympiad in Rio by providing half a million in support to the Barbados Olympic Association spread over the next five years, General Manager Niall Sheehy fielded queries from the media.

When a concern was raised over the new channel Flow Sports showcasing Barbadians, Mr Sheehy welcomed the opportunity to invite videographers and sports enthusiasts to make proposals on new content;-

The sporting NGO not only gained much needed financial support to enable athletes to compete abroad, Flow also made it easier for the BOA to show and view key events with the addition of an electronic billboard;-
