MERGING PARTIES TOLD TO IMPROVE THEIR STANDARDS

The finalisation of the merging between the former Columbus and Lime networks has brought a stern warning from a Government Senator.

Senator D'Arcy Beckles delivered the keynote address at an event celebrating the full merging of the former Lime networks with its Columbus Business Solutions counterpart into the rebranded C&W Business expressed his concern. You may recall in March, the Fair Trading Commission approved the deal where Lime and Flow became a single entity.

The Senator, who also is Minister of Energy and Information, clearly had in mind recent complaints made by Barbadians via social media where subscribers experienced either poor service or slow internet speeds;-

Senator Boyce was made Chair of the Caribbean Telecommunications Union, he was elected by unanimous vote at the 18th General Conference of Ministers Meeting held in Tortola, British Virgin Islands in early October.
