Barbados Wins Caribbean Youth Congress Debate

Barbados Junior Minister of Tourism Chloe Walker

Barbados’ Junior Minister of Tourism, Chloe Walker is now the Regional Tourism Youth Congress champion.

Chloe dominated a field of her peers from around the region last Friday during the last day of the Caribbean Tourism Organization State of the Industry Conference (SOTIC) in Willemstad, Curacao.

Chloe was accompanied by Marsha Armstrong, program officer, National Tourism Host Programme at the Barbados Tourism Product Authority. In congratulating the young Harrison College student, the BTPA executive commented that her victory proves that hard work and a passion for tourism can reap rewards for our nation’s youth.
