Police are conducting investigation into a minor mass casualty accident which occurred about 08:15 am on 7th October along Maxwell Road, Christ Church at its junction with Dover Road?

Involved were the motor car registration number J 1140 owned and driven by Alvin Mason 71 years of Church View St. John, and the ZR motor van registration number ZR 226, owned by DESAI Transport Co. Ltd., located at Kings Street St.Michael, and driven by Kevin Johnson 32 years of Lewis Gap Green Hill St.Michael.

Dr Byer, the Medical Director of the Ambulance Services, and one fire tender under the command of station officer Denton Foster responded to the scene of the accident.

Police also responded to nine (9) other reported minor accidents and are appealing to all motorists to exercise the necessary due care and attention whilst using the roads. Motorists are also being advised of the importance of ensuring that they driving practices coincides with the condition of the roads, particularly during rainfall.
