Rehearsal for Remembrance Day Parade alters Bridgetown Traffic

A full rehearsal for the Remembrance Day Parade will be held this Sunday, November 1, in National Heroes’ Square, beginning at 8:00 a.m.

As a result, a number of traffic changes will be in effect between 6:00 a.m. and 10:00 a.m. Broad Street, from its junction with Prince William Henry Street to its junction with High Street, as well as High Street, Trafalgar Street, Charles Duncan O'Neal Bridge and Wharf Road, will be closed to all vehicular traffic.

As a result, a number of traffic changes will be in effect between 6:00 a.m. and 10:00 a.m. Broad Street, from its junction with Prince William Henry Street to its junction with High Street, as well as High Street, Trafalgar Street, Charles Duncan O’Neal Bridge and Wharf Road, will be closed to all vehicular traffic.

No parking will be allowed along Belmont Road, Constitution Road, Martindale’s Road, St. Michael Row, Bridge Street, Trafalgar Street, Magazine Lane, Palmetto Street and Rickett Street.

Motorists and pedestrians travelling in the area are asked to exercise caution, and to follow the instructions of the Royal Barbados Police Force personnel on duty.
