Our 2015 Embrace the Cause bracelet allows everyone to join in the fight against breast cancer, and our partnership with the Breast Screening Programme of The Barbados Cancer Society continues to contribute significantly to raising awareness. Since 2005 Payless has been supporting charitable organizations in Latin America and the Caribbean. Through these bracelet sales, our support impacts positively on the lives of persons involved in the breast cancer fight, including some of our very own customers, and we feel it is one of the best ways in which we can give back,” said Alison Haynes-John, Barbados Country Manager, Payless ShoeSource

Dr. Shirley Hanoman-Jhagroo, Obstetrician Gynecologist and Medical Director of the Breast Screening Programme of the Barbados Cancer Society endorsed the initiative and thanked Payless ShoeSource for its continuing support.

“The Breast Screening Programme of The Barbados Cancer Society, wishes to express its tremendous gratitude toward Payless ShoeSource, who have partnered with us for several years now, to raise awareness and provide donations to help fund our institution,” said Dr. Hanoman-Jhagroo.

Barbados Country Manager, Alison Haynes-John added: “Every time one of our customers purchases this beautiful bracelet they are doing their part in helping to spread the message about early detection and contributing to a very worthy cause.”
