Barbadian Hotelier appointed COO of luxury development in Trinidad
The Renaissance at Shorelands, a luxury residential development located on Trinidad and Tobago’s north west coastline, recently appointed renown Barbadian hotelier, Anthony Bowen, Chief Operating Officer.
The well travelled Caribbean hotelier brings over thirty years’ experience to the position.
Bowen has proven his operational expertise through a series of regional postings. After earning his MHCIMA Degree in Hospitality in the UK, Bowen pursued his career entirely in the Caribbean, managing iconic properties such as Glitter Bay and Royal Pavilion in Barbados, Ciboney Villa Resort in Jamaica, St. James’s Club in Antigua and Windjammer Landing Villa Beach Resort in Saint Lucia.
The recipient of the prestigious Caribbean Hotelier of the Year Award, Mr Bowen has also received the Virgin Holidays Gold Award for Outstanding Contribution to Caribbean Tourism. He is currently the Treasurer of the Caribbean Hotel & Tourism Association Education Foundation, an organisation very close and dear to his heart.
At The Renaissance at Shorelands, Mr. Bowen is responsible for overseeing day-to-day operations, sales and public affairs. The high profile development includes seventy-four two, three and four bedroom private residences, as well as numerous luxury lifestyle amenities and security features.
