It was announced by the Divisional Commander for Barbados, Major Sinous Theodore that Lieut.-Colonel Clinton Burrowes will co-ordinate The Salvation Army’s response to the Dominica crisis. Lieut.-Colonel Burrowes, who served as Divisional Commander for Barbados in the eighties, has vast experience and training as Disaster Response Coordinator for The Salvation Army.
Lieut.-Colonel Burrowes and his team, which include Major Desmond Davis and Captain Dwayne Broome recently left for Dominica to assess what and where the people can greater benefit from the Army’s response.
The Salvation Army appreciates the work already being done by Government and non-Governmental Organizations.
