Road Fatality in St Philip, Barbados Police urge caution

Police are conducting investigation into a fatality which occurred on the afternoon of Saturday 26th Sept. 2015 along Cane Garden Road St. Philip involving two motorcars.

Preliminary investigations are suggesting that the two motor cars, P3796 driven by a 46 year old female, and H157 driven by a male 69 years with dual citizenship, Barbadian / American was travelling along the road in opposite directions when the vehicles collided.

As a result the female driver complained for pain to her neck, left hand and foot and was transported to the QEH by ambulance, while the male driver was pronounced dead at the scene.

Motorists are being reminded of the importance of exercising the necessary due care and attention when using the highway and byways.
