On September 21st and 22nd, 2015 a number of local and regional members of the Public Sector will be attending the first annual Public Sector Conference, hosted by The Cave Hill School of Business/ The University of the West Indies (CHSB/UWI), in association with the Commonwealth Association of Public Administration and Management (CAPAM), Caribbean Leadership Project (CLP), and the Management Institute for National Development (MIND). Entitled Overcoming the Implementation Deficit: From Planning to Performance. This highly anticipated two-day event will take place at Hilton Barbados, Needham’s Point.

The distinguished list of featured speakers include: Christopher Sinckler – Minister of Finance, Barbados; Philip J. Pierre, Deputy Prime Minister, Minister of Infrastructure, Port Services and Transport, St. Lucia; Mia Amor Mottley – Leader of the Opposition, Barbados; Ms Gay Hamilton – Executive Director and CEO, CAPAM; Dr Alex MacDonald – Vice President, Programs and Chief Learning Officer at Holland College, Prince Edward Island; Dr Kenroy Wedderburn – Chief Executive Officer, Firearm Licensing Authority, Jamaica and Professor Avinash Persaud – Nonresident Senior Fellow, Peterson Institute for International Economics among others.
