Once again Divi Southwinds Resort, Christ Church, Barbados will host the 6th CaFA Fair Barbados from March 9-13, 2016. Over the past 5 years CaFA presented the works of over 75 artists representing 15 Caribbean nations, USA, Brazil and Africa.

2015 continues to be an exciting year for CaFA Fair Barbados and our participating artists. Beyond the success of CaFA Fair Barbados 2015 both in terms of art sales and visiting patrons, artists continue to receive opportunities to advance their careers and showcase their creativity.

The Directors of Caribbean Fine Art Fair and the Dwyer Cultural Center invite you to attend “An Evening of Art & Elegance” Thursday, October 22, 2015, 6-10pm at the Dwyer Center, 258 St. Nicholas Avenue (at 123rd Street), New York, NY 10027. Featured performers for the evening are the Eric Frazier Quintet with vocalists Pamela Cornelius and The Soyemi Sisters.

Wintner-Tikhonova Gallery in association with CaFA Fair Barbados will present “5 Caribbean Artists: Works on Paper” from October 28, 2015, featuring Diogenes Ballester (Puerto Rico), Pepe Coronado (DR), Francks Francois Deceus (Haiti), Carlos Jesus Martinez Dominguez (DR) and Jamaica’s Ava Tomlinson.

The gallery is located in historic Mount Morris district in Harlem, New York City.

From December 3, 2015 – February 3, 2016 the Dwyer Cultural Center in Harlem, NYC, will host “Contemporary Painting & Printmaking: Selections from CaFA Fair Barbados” an exhibition celebrating Caribbean culture, which will feature artwork by Ras Ishi Butcher (Barbados); Patricia Brintle (Haiti); members of the Coronado Print Studio (Dominican Republic); Bernard Hoyes (Jamaica); Jean Patrick Icart-Pierre (Haiti); Jamal Ince (Barbados); Alfredo Isaac (Panama); Beatrice Mellinger (Martinique); and Jesma Noel (Grenada); as well as video presentation and interaction with personalities who are shaping its programming.
