Toastmaster honoured at historic church for long-standing service

On Barbados’ eastern coastline, a play-park was dedicated to Grace Maughn in recognition of her outstanding contribution to the development of the youth of the parish of St. John and Barbados. The event took place at the historic St. John’s Parish Church, where Miss Maughn has been involved all her life. The occasion was celebrated with a special church service and the unveiling of a plaque.

Miss Maughn loves working with children of the Sunday school and has been sharing her extensive wisdom with them for over 25 years. She is also a member of the church's Women's Auxiliary, which started the lush garden on the church grounds.
