Lucky Horseshoe gamer funding tuition fees with Royal Flush
Aspiring attorney Corey Marshall has eighty thousand reasons to feel like a king, and no longer has to wonder how he will fund his legal education when he enters the Hugh Wooding Law School this coming September.
A royal flush recently on the Game King – just four days ahead of his 33rd birthday last month – has set the regular patron of Lucky Horseshoe on his way with a kingly pay-out of BBD $80,000.00, which he says will go mainly towards tuition fees.
“My birthday was on Wednesday, July 29th, and I just couldn’t believe it; it took me a while to compose myself. I’ve just been accepted to Hugh Wooding Law School, so this will pay my tuition, and I will be investing some in savings bonds or mutual funds,” said Marshall.
The lucky poker enthusiast was presented with his cheque and toasted by Chief Executive Officer, Paul Johnson of Paul’s Enterprises Limited and other staff of The Lucky Horseshoe at Bagatelle, where Marshall hit the poker jackpot with a royal flush of hearts on Game King, a new multi-game system at Lucky Horseshoe. Manager of The lucky Horseshoe, Ms. Katrine Phillips, also extended her congratulations to Corey on his big win
“Corey is a regular patron of Lucky Horseshoe, and we offer him our heartiest congratulations on a well-deserved jackpot win. Corey is a quality poker player. It really is a skillset with a degree of luck built in,” Johnson said.
The lucky winner was also presented with a voucher entitling him to dinner for two at Paulo’s Churrasco Do Brazil, and became the first recipient of a Lucky Player’s Club Gold Member Card. Points accumulated on the new cards will be valid for gifts and bonuses at all locations of Lucky Horseshoe, Pot of Gold on Marhill Street, and the Gaming Lounge at the South Gap Hotel.
