CAVEAT
This salvo of sarcasm was fueled with material from both the Barbados Advocate and Nation Publishing 😉
THE IMPASSE BETWEEN the Barbados Investment and Development Corporation (BIDC) and the National Union of Public Workers (NUPW) is heading for Prime Minister Freundel Stuart’s ears.
As the island experiences a very mild & ineffectual street demonstration led by the NUPW today, Minister of Labour Dr Esther Byer said she appealed to Stuart once again to step in.
(BajanReporter’s NOTE: The only other Labour Minister as vapid as the former Suckoo was Rudolph “Cappy” Greenidge under the BLP, the only matter she settled is if she’s single or not… The CARICOM Heads Summit would have been a great chance to emphasise the plight, but the Unions waited ’til afterwards and showed they’re as potent as Cialis 25 years past the expiration)

She said she had allowed Stuart, as the current chair of CARICOM, the space to deal with CARICOM Heads of Government business. But as it wrapped up on Saturday, she said she had asked him to intervene in the dispute and expected he would meet with officials from the NUPW and the BIDC shortly. (HLE)
