New Board of Directors for “Barbados’ Council For The Disabled”

Former Treasurer Mrs. Maria Holder-Small is now the President of the Barbados Council for the Disabled. Mrs. Holder-Small, who takes over the presidency from Senate President Senator Kerryann Ifill, who defeated Elviston Maloney for the post.

Senator Ifill is now the Council's Vice President while BLP Member of Parliament Edmund Hinkson topped the elections for the position of Directors. Former Cabinet Minister and Member of Parliament, Joseph "Johnny" Tudor, was elected as the Secretary while the Treasurer is Dr. Jennifer Campbell and the Public Relations Officer is Errol Hurley. Mr. Maloney, Roger Vaughan, Mrs. Patricia Blackman, Colbert Ashby and Ms. Dawn Rudder are the remaining Directors of the Council.

The Barbados Council for the Disabled is the non-governmental umbrella body of 17 members and 2 associate organizations seeking to effect change and to champion the rights of persons with disabilities as well as to ensure their full and effective integration into society.
