Was due to meet an advertising client and they suggested this secluded delight near Best Of Barbados along the St Lawrence Gap, what a treat!

The Bliss Café was created in 2013 as an alternative to the fried food which can be a large part of traditional and modern Barbadian cuisine by Nicola and Ray who have a full and true family business.

Partially inspired by the finer aspects of Starbucks and Costco, the couple and their children and Father In Law made an independent version which is the breakfast hangout for many a local & visitor.

Despite having foreign inputs for the restaurant they have not forgotten the Caribbean in their offerings… They have Jerked Bagels (fresh, Gluten free) and their juices are made by the family.

Their trademark is their killer waffles, healthy yet decadent - Savoury or Honey, the toppings include cheese, spinach, turkey, ham or egg! You arrive hungry and are rolled off with a sated tummy!
