Digicel Barbados’ new Chief Executive Officer Johnny Ingle urged Barbadians to acknowledge the over two dozen athletes who will represent the country at the upcoming Special Olympics in Los Angeles. The new CEO was recently personally introduced to the champions, and seized the moment to call on all Digicel customers and all Barbadians to offer their support to the team of “unique individuals“.

"Digicel has been at the forefront through its history in the Caribbean of supporting those that are challenged. So with great respect and humility, I also challenge and ask humbly that those that have a little here or a little there can make a contribution to our unique and special Olympians.

They are Olympians, they are champions. They have challenges. I’ll never be an Olympian, but I am very proud to support 25 who are going to the games in LA,” Ingle said.
