Renowned Barbadian Chefs Michael Harrison and Andre Nurse, and mixologist Jamaal Bowen created an inside look at the culinary capital’s epicurean offerings.

Hailing from Cobblers Cove hotel, Chef Michael Harrison showcased his Michelin starred restaurant experience, combining fresh ingredients, Bajan recipes and a modern touch.

A veteran of the annual Barbados Food & Wine and Rum Festival, and team captain of Barbados National Culinary Arts Team, Chef Andre Nurse prepared traditional Caribbean fare with a new wave Bajan twist. The delicious dishes got paired with island inspired cocktails, served by award-winning Sandy Lane resident mixologist Jamaal Bowen.

“The epicurean scene is one where we excel and besides an outstanding cadre of extremely talented chefs, we also offer a wide variety of choice of different eating establishments. Barbados’ highly-acclaimed Food & Wine and Rum Festival brings all that together and you can have a taste of that experience with these special offerings prepared by Chef Harrison and Chef Nurse,” said Petra Roach, BTMI, Director, USA. “The festival is entering its sixth year, and keeps getting stronger and with the introduction of JetBlue’s Mint service from JFK as well as a new direct service from Boston, Barbados now has more airlift options than ever before.”
