TRINIDADIAN BAND, KARMA: STRONGER THAN EVER
After copping both the Chutney Soca Monarch and Traditional Monarch titles together with Rikki Jai. Ravi B & Karma commenced their hectic touring schedule from state to state in North America, Guyana, St Maarten, Antigua and Tobago Jazz Festival. Ravi B and Karma is all set for this weekend as they head back home in Trinidad to their hometown; Sangre Grande for an exclusive and full band performance at Purple Moon Carpark. Karma which is headlined by Ravi B, Nisha B & Abbyshi will be joined by their former band D.Rampersad Indi Art featuring Neval B. Rakesh Yankaran and Rikki Jai will also join the cast for this huge concert.
Immediately after, Karma will venture to Point Fortin’s Borough Day celebrations, which they are no strangers to at Bedrock’s All Inclusive fete. The band will then plunge into rehearsals for their opening act at the National Stadium in Port of Spain, Trinidad on 9th May, which will feature multiple Grammy award winners Michael Bolton and Richard Marx.
After the short stay in Trinidad, Karma will once again head to Orlando Carnival, Tampa Carnival, Atlanta Carnival and London. They will then head back to Trinidad for their most anticipated Father’s day concert on 13th June 2015.
2015 is definitely shaping up to be a landmark season for Ravi B and Karma as they performed alongside huge stars such as Miguel, Jennifer Hudson, Future, Michael Bolton, Richard Marx and Shaan. Ravi B has been secretly allocating time on his main focus, which is building a super Karma, rather than the usual studio recording and vacation planning. Karma’s newest addition from Tobago, Abbyshi Jackson has already been on tour and promised to deliver. Karma is striving to be the best Karma in 12 years with technology, musicians, sounds, image and repertoire that are phenomenal.
