PETROL COSTS RISE, 8 MORE DAYS LEFT BEFORE SOL’S “FREE GAS FOR LIFE” IS DRAWN!
Effective midnight Sunday 17th May the retail price of gasoline and diesel will increase, while the price of kerosene will fall. (EDITOR’s NOTE: This combining of events was done separate to SOL‘s promotion, they are unaware of this initiative until publication)

According to a statement from the Division of Energy, the price of gasoline will move from $3.02 per litre to $3.08 per litre, while the price of diesel will increase by one cent from $2.30 per litre to $2.31 per litre. The price of kerosene will now be $1.18, down from $1.21 – remember, every $40 spent gives you a chance at Free Fuel For Life!
Meanwhile, the price of liquefied petroleum gas (LPG) has also risen from $155.75 per 100 lb. cylinder to $159.51 per 100 lb. cylinder. The 25 lb. cylinder will increase by 94 cents from $44.04 to $44.98, while the 22 lb. cylinder will move from $38.92 to $39.74. There will be a 75 cents increase on the 20 lb. cylinder which will now retail for $36.13.
