Summer is right around the corner and NexCyx is kicking things off with their newest single “Let it Go” (Le Te Te). The upbeat reggae fusion track is the perfect anthem for a stress free summer.
Musical Director, Andre Clarke who produced the song, said inspiration came from an impromptu band jam session and began to take shape when they travelled to France to co-headline the Cognac Blues Passions Festival with Wyclef Jean. “The result is a high energy fusion of reggae, hip hop and Indian influences that is uniquely rhythmic. It’s a get on your feet, dance and let it go tune for sure,” he explained.
“The song resonates with the energy that summer brings. We only have one life and we need to live it to the fullest,” she added.
The track was recorded at Lethal Studios, mixed by Certified Triple Platinum engineer and producer, Frank “El Medico” Rodriquez, and mastered by Grammy nominated mastering engineer Chris Gehringer, who has worked on tracks for Rihanna and Lady Gaga.
