Members of the Drug Squad have formally charged Carlisle Winston Miller 49 year old Fisherman of College Savannah, St. John in relation to the seizure of around 500 lbs of cannabis during an operation at Consett Bay, St. John about 6.50 pm on Sunday 12 April 2015
He was charged with the offences of:
- Possession
- Possession with intent to supply
- Trafficking; and
- Importation.
Miller appeared at the District C Magistrates Court on Tuesday 14 April 2015 and was remanded until 12 May 2015.
ARSON
Police have formally charged Ryan Benn of Brandon’s Gap, Deacons Road, St. Michael with the offence of Arson in relation to the fire that occurred about 6.30 pm on Sunday 12 April 2015 at Brandon’s Gap, St. Michael and which destroyed a dwelling house, 2 workshops and 2 motorcars.

MEN CHARGED WITH SERIOUS CRIMES
The Royal Barbados Police Force continues to made progress into serious crimes being committed. The following persons were arrested and charged for various offences.
1.
Kirk Francis 34 years of No-fixed-place-of-abode was arrested and charged with:
7 counts of robbery
2 counts of burglary
2 counts of theft. These offences were committed in 2015.

2.
James Jonah Josiah Sandiford, 23 years of Mayers Land, Richmond, St. Michael was arrested and charged with the offences of:
8 counts of Robbery
2 counts of Assault with intent to rob; and
1 count of Theft.
James Jonah Josiah Sandiford, 23 years and Damien Shimar Griffith, 23 years of Mayers Land, Richmond, St. Michael, were jointly charged with a case of Theft.
*** Sandiford was one of the men featured in a video released by the Force where 2 men were seen walking past a store entrance. The other man is still being sought.
