SEE GENIUS IN A WHOLE NEW LIGHT IN SEASON 02 PREMIERE OF ‘SILICON VALLEY’
After taking the tech world by storm last season at TechCrunch Disrupt, Richard and rest of the Pied Piper team – Erlich, Jared, Dinesh and Gilfoyle – look ahead to a bright and profitable future. But their success may be in jeopardy, thanks to big changes at Raviga, the company created by Peter Gregory, and Nucleus, the competing compression platform launched by Hooli CEO Gavin Belson.
The Emmy®- and Golden Globe®-nominated original comedy series Silicon Valley takes a comic look at the modern-day epicenter of the high-tech gold rush, where the people most qualified to succeed are the least capable of handling success. A collaboration between Mike Judge and Alec Berg, who both direct five episodes, the show returns for its ten-episode second season on Sunday, April 12 in the Caribbean, simultaneously with the United States, immediately following the season five debut of “Game of Thrones.”
Filled with even more industry cameos, this new season promises to skewer the tech world with even greater veracity and hilarity, as its heroes continue to fumble their way towards unimaginable success.
The series received five Emmy® nominations for its first season last year, including Outstanding Comedy Series; Outstanding Directing for a Comedy Series (Mike Judge); Outstanding Writing for a Comedy Series (Alec Berg); Outstanding Art Direction for a Contemporary Program; and Outstanding Main Title Design. The series also earned a 2015 Golden Globe Award nomination for Best Television Series – Comedy or Musical.
Guest star Ben Feldman returns as Ron LaFlamme; new guest stars include Chris Diamantopoulos as Russ Hanneman and Alice Wetterlund as Carla.
Silicon Valley was created by Mike Judge & John Altschuler & Dave Kinsky; executive producers, Mike Judge, Alec Berg, John Altschuler & Dave Krinsky, Michael Rotenberg and Tom Lassally; co-executive producers, Dan O’Keefe and Clay Tarver; supervising producers, Sonny Lee and Ron Weiner; producers, Carrie Kemper and Jim Kleverweis; and writers Alec Berg, Clay Tarver, Dan O’Keefe, Ron Weiner, Carson Mell, Sonny Lee, Carrie Kemper, Amy Aniobi and Dan Lyons.
