Scotiabank has been named the Best Emerging Market Bank 2015 in Barbados by the prestigious Global Finance. This is the fifth straight year the Bank has captured this accolade, having also received it in 2011, 2012, 2013 and 2014.
Scotiabank was also named Best Emerging Markets Bank 2015 by Global Finance in four other Caribbean countries: Jamaica, Turks and Caicos, Trinidad & Tobago and US Virgin Islands.
“We are proud to receive this accolade in five territories this year as customers continue to receive world-class service from Scotiabank“, said Bruce Bowen, Senior Vice President, Caribbean Region, International Banking.
In an exclusive survey to be published in its May issue, Global Finance has selected the winners in 25 countries within the Latin America region. Criteria for choosing the winners included growth in assets, profitability, strategic relationships, customer service, competitive pricing and innovative products. In addition, a poll of Global Finance’s corporate readership was conducted in order to increase the accuracy and reliability of the results.
