JAMAICAN NATIONAL CHARGED WITH GANJA OFFENCES

Members of the Drug Squad have charged Jamaican national Crosswell Chester Henry with the following offences committed at the Grantley Adams International Airport:

1. Possession of cannabis
2. Possession with intent to supply
3. Trafficking; and
4. Importation of cannabis – 2.5 lb.

Crosswell Henry arrived by air on the 15th April 2015 at 7:30 am. He cleared Immigration and was interviewed by Police. Henry was referred to the Queen Elizabeth Hospital where he subsequently passed out hundred and twenty (120) packets of cannabis he had ingested; total weight 2.5 lb.

Jamaican national Crosswell Chester Henry appeared at the District A Magistrates Court on Saturday 18 April 2015 and was not required to plea. He was remanded to appear at the District B Magistrates Court on 21 April 2015.
