Barbados has a new Ambassador to Mexico.

This country's Ambassador to the United States, John Beale, recently presented letters of credence to the President of Mexico, Enrique Peña Nieto, accrediting him as Ambassador Extraordinary and Plenipotentiary of Barbados to the United Mexican States.
This country’s Ambassador to the United States, John Beale, recently presented letters of credence to the President of Mexico, Enrique Peña Nieto, accrediting him as Ambassador Extraordinary and Plenipotentiary of Barbados to the United Mexican States.

Barbados and Mexico established diplomatic relations in 1972, and to date have signed an Agreement for Scientific and Technical Cooperation in 1995 and a Double Taxation treaty in 2008.

Both countries also work together within the framework of the Mexico-CARICOM Joint Commission, which seeks to promote economic, cultural, technological and other types of cooperation. (KRM/BGIS)
