Come in from the cold for a dose of island life in a place to get your groove back, at the launch of the Nevis’ first annual blues festival, which will be the perfect backdrop to an exhilarating Caribbean experience. The three-night musical event takes place April 16-19, 2015 at the aptly named, Sundowner Stage on Oualie Bay. The line-up features an impressive selection of award-winning and world-renowned artists from Europe, the United States and the Caribbean.
Multi-Award winning musician and British Blues Hall of Famer, Ian Siegal joins XM Satellite Radio “Best New Blues Artist” awardee, Zac Harmon and acclaimed U.K. based Jazz, Gospel and Blues singer Denise Gordon, whose parents are from Nevis, as part of the roster of artistes slated to perform.
The organizers created the Nevis Blues Festival to complement the natural, intimate and relaxed setting of the island, allowing music lovers to enjoy the soulful sounds of blues that will fill the night air. Guests will be immersed in the wonderfully relaxed pace of Nevisian life that’s loaded with history as they savor exquisite sights and enjoy mouthwatering cuisine that serves to further enhance the experience.
