With the introduction of the Galaxy A5, LIME and Samsung are putting within reach of Barbadians the thinnest device on the market, showcasing style and personality in the most fun and elegant way.

“The Galaxy A5 is a neat package with a modern design and high-powered internals. It was designed with young consumers in mind and we are very excited to be releasing it to the local market,” said Rachel Pilgrim, Head of Marketing and Corporate Communications, LIME.

Jorge López, Regional Product Manager at Samsung Electronics, said he was happy to once again be partnering with LIME as Samsung delivered on its promise of producing high quality mobile devices.

While we develop our devices, we continuously listen to the interests of consumers, as well as study the latest market trends. The Galaxy A5 is designed for young consumers seeking style and functionality. This device reflects the promise we have undertaken with LIME to bring unique products to the market,” he said.

The new Galaxy A5 perfectly combines design and functionality with its ultra thin and durable all-metal body, only 6.7mm thick, which offers the refinement that young consumers seek.

Additionally, with a front-facing 5 MP camera and a wide range of features, Samsung invites young people to take the best Selfies, Groupies, and its exclusive Wide Selfies, thanks to a 120º angle of view.

The many innovative features on the Galaxy A5 include the Palm Selfie, Animated GIFs, Beauty Face Features, and the Rear-cam Selfie, which allows users to take better selfies in high resolution through the detection and automatic focus on a person’s face.
