FLOW launches new local TV Channel 99: Will Fadda Fox win?
Flow video customers will get to see Leadpipe, Saddis and Fadda Fox – free of charge – as they vie for the crown at the International Soca Monarch Finals, airing live from Trinidad this Friday, February 13, 2015 just by tuning into Flow’s new local channel, Flow TV, shown on channel 99.
Speaking about the latest enhancement for customers, Shelly Ann Hee Chung, vice president of marketing, sales and communications, Eastern Caribbean said, “With FLOW TV, the opportunity is finally here for local producers to have their work, once approved, seen not only on a national, but regional platform.”
While this long awaited local channel will feature local, regional and international content with coverage of events just like the upcoming International Soca Monarch Finals, Flow customers will benefit from regional content on the onDemand service. The company also launched a new ‘preview’ channel (on channel 100) where viewers can watch onDemand content trailers and highlight Video on Demand trailers. This launch marks yet another significant milestone for Columbus Barbados.
It follows the recently launch “advanced services” including onDemand television, Video on Demand (VOD), Video Recording options where customers can record and access their favourite programmes and watch at their convenience, known as Flow Cloud Video Recording and the Parental Control option that gives parents more control on what their children can access. All of these advanced features gives customers more control and options for their television viewing habits.
