DIGICEL CUSTOMERS WILL NEVER LOSE UNUSED DATA AGAIN: Company Launches Rollover Data

Digicel 4G Data customers will no longer have to worry about losing their unused data when their current plan expires, thanks to the introduction of Rollover Data by the island’s leading telecommunications company.

With the new service, customers will now be able to keep their unused data for the next time they upgrade, downgrade, or even change their existing data plan while on an existing, active plan.

Marketing Executive with Digicel (Barbados) Limited, Randy Howard, said the new the service is yet another one of the company's ways of providing the customer with extraordinary value:

“We are always looking for ways to bring our customers added value and we have done this most recently with a strong focus on our data offerings. Last year we introduced the unrestricted use of Facebook and Instagram on a set of plans and then followed this up with unrestricted WhatsApp, giving our customers the freedom to use their data quotas for other purposes such as streaming, downloading, paying bills online, etc. Now with Rollover Data we are enabling them to get the full use of what they’ve paid for.”

With Rollover Data now enabled, customers who have opted in for the auto renewal of their plans will automatically have their unused data from the expiring plan added to the new data plan following the renewal. Similarly, once a customer makes the decision to upgrade or downgrade from one plan to another, any unused data from the expiring plan will again be added to the new quota.
