Caribbean Cooking Channel launched

The Caribbean Cooking Channel was created by Darin Holder due to the number of food & beverage series he created over the last four years which aired on CBC TV 8.

Holder started out with Eggonomics, which features chefs and Celebrity chefs creating fantastic dishes using Eggs and Chicken.

He then diverted into “In Da Mix” which is a Five Minute Mixology show, featuring the most talented mixologist on the island creating amazing cocktails and Five minute meals which is self explanatory.

So now Holder's putting together all of these shows, as well as cooking shows produced in some neighbouring islands to form the Caribbean Cooking Channel.

It will be a 24 hour HD channel, on MCTV channel 117 Commencing in Early March 2015.

Despite the fact Darin's Stronghold Entertainment already has a lot of content already, they're not resting on their laurels, they're currently working on more series, to be filmed throughout the Caribbean.

Holder indicates his team will be heading to Antigua very soon to do some filming down there and then on to St Lucia, Jamaica and Trinidad. This means they’ll be doing auditions for people like TV hosts as well as behind the scenes personnel like production assistants and videographers, to handle their increasing work load.

Stronghold Entertainment recently delivered their official launch which was held at Bellevue house where Chef Henderson Butcher of Pure Ocean Restaurant and Chesterfield Brown from Mount Gay created dishes and cocktails for the audience which comprised of sponsors and media. Both of them also performed three demos each of cooking and mixology for the selected audience.
