Scotiabank has been named the Bank of the Year in Barbados by The Banker magazine, a Financial Times publication. This is the 5th time the Bank has been recognized by the publication.

"Scotiabank has had a presence in Barbados for nearly 60 years and we're proud to be known for our customer service and for delivering superior results for our shareholders."

The Bank was also named Bank of the Year by The Banker in Antigua, Bahamas, Belize, Grenada, Guyana, Jamaica and Trinidad & Tobago.

The Banker selects winners based on their ability to deliver shareholder returns and gain strategic advantage. The magazine is the world’s longest running international banking magazine, recognized as a leading source of information on finance and investment around the globe.
