Customers at Scotiabank branches across the island got a sweet surprise on Tuesday as the Bank celebrated the 48th anniversary of Independence with an all-Bajan customer appreciation day.

On the day dubbed 'Too Sweet Tuesday', customers in the branches received packages of Bajan goodies - blue and yellow sugar cakes, molasses treats and nutcakes. The customer celebration had an extra twist of Barbadiana as colourfully dressed Bajan folk characters, including the familiar mauby seller distributed the sweet treats.
