Food donations collected at the Barbados Association of Retired Persons (BARP) Volunteers Christmas party were recently given to the HIV/AIDS Food Bank.

Mrs. Hazel Norville, Chairperson of the BARP Social Activities Committee stated it was indeed a pleasure to make this contribution on behalf of the association and she is looking forward to doing more of the same in the future.

Ms. Stacia Whittaker HIV/AIDS Food Bank Manager stated BARP’s generous contribution was truly appreciated as HIV had touched all facets of the community including persons who are retired.

Whittaker went on to state children will also benefit from the food donation and she thanked BARP for coming up with this initiative and is looking forward to partnering more with BARP in the future.
