Over the last few days, Management and staff hit the road to personally deliver the hampers across the island to families who had been identified through a number of channels.

Marketing Executive with Digicel (Barbados) Limited, Randy Howard, noted that the initiative, which was in its second year, was a true reflection of the company’s Christmas theme for this year:

Come Together to Make Christmas Better” is our theme this year, and the success of this initiative was certainly based on that. We partnered with Variety, the Children’s Charity; the Barbados Child Care Board; the Nation Newspaper; and most importantly, with our staff, to identify individuals and families in need across the island. We also partnered with BrydenStokes, Wibisco and Massy Distribution for the various non-perishable items. It was certainly a joy to see the enthusiasm of the staff as they packed the hampers and also to the see the smiles on the faces of the families. It was definitely a rewarding experience for all.”
