Columbus Supports the Barbados Vagrants and Homeless Society on Love Day

Columbus Telecommunications joined with The Barbados Vagrants and Homeless Society (BVHS) “Love Day” for a time of giving and cheer for those in our community who are in need of assistance, this past Saturday in Queens Park.

Members of Columbus (Flow and Columbus Business Solutions) dedicated their time preparing breakfast, serving lunch and assisting in whatever way they could. In addition to breakfast and lunch, the BVHS treated persons with gifts, clothing and hampers. Additionally, BVHS ensured that all persons who attended Love Day for assistance, where met with a counsellor to help guide them.

Niall Sheehy, Managing Director of Columbus Telecommunications said “I admire and applaud the efforts of the Barbados Vagrants and Homeless Society, and to know that this effort is being driven by young people that allows us to know that the youth of Barbados is forward thinking and have their hearts in the right place“.

He also added that “Columbus was happy to assist the BVHS in any way we could, our team members plan to continue to support these efforts in the future”.

Kemar Saffrey, Founder and Chairman said “Love day was successful and we really appreciate the support and I’m grateful for everyone who came out to help
