Barbados Association of Reading wants to hear from all reading & literacy clubs across the Island

The Barbados Association of Reading is continuing its community outreach to organisations involved in supporting reading and literacy in Barbados.

The Barbados Association of Reading is an association which aims to 'build a nation of readers'. It is an affiliate of the International Reading Association.

The Association is conducting a survey of the needs of these clubs and the volunteers who work with them.

“Reading and literacy clubs and the volunteers who run them, are essential elements in the drive to increase literacy and promote reading in Barbados,” says Cheryl Williams, Public Relations Officer of the Barbados Association of Reading.

All reading and literacy club organizers are invited to contact the Association at readbarbados@gmail.com with the subject line, “reading clubs“. Interested persons should also call the Vice President, Sharon Warner at telephone number 571-3383.
