Known for training announcers throughout the Caribbean, apart from making Voice Of Barbados known on the world map when it had the 790 frequency on the AM band, Julian did sterling investigative work in both Antigua and Trinidad which appeared controversial for the Governments of the day in those respective territories…

Mr. Rogers was accompanied to the presentation ceremony by his son, Julian Rogers, Jr.; daughter, Claire Haynes; and mother-in-law, Elaine Brathwaite. (KH/BGIS)
