The spacious new store, which will be open seven days a week for shopper’s convenience, boasts a clean and contemporary design and represents the new face of Standard, says Chief Executive Officer Katrina Newton. She said Barbadian consumers expect a higher level of merchandising and product presentation as well as great customer service. “That’s what our new flagship store offers,” she added.
To celebrate the opening of the new store, a number of promotions are taking place this weekend, Ms. Newton said, including 10% off storewide until Sunday as well as the sale of selected electronics at cost, while stocks last. The store’s official opening will take place in the coming weeks.
