LIME Entertainment Quiz victory to do what Stuart regime failed: complete UWI tuition

Following the stars has proved worthwhile for Alicia Mayers.

The 35 year-old administrator recently collected $10,000 from LIME after she was announced as the Grand Prize winner in The LIME Entertainment Quiz.

“The competition was focused around local, regional and international entertainment, something which I like to follow closely as a hobby, so it was a perfect fit for me. I even found myself looking forward to receiving the daily questions,” said Mayers.

LIME customers were given the opportunity to enter the six week competition and accumulate points by answering questions based on entertainment and the arts.

Mayers, who is currently enrolled at the University of the West Indies, says she intends to use her winnings to complete her Bachelor’s degree in Management.

Winning this prize couldn’t have come at a better time for me. I’ve never won such a big prize,” added Mayers, the mother of an eleven month old son. “I now plan to invest this money in my education and I’m so thankful to LIME.”

The self-proclaimed movie buff is a two-time winner with LIME after she twice pocketed $100 during the same competition.

“We are thrilled that Alicia will be using her winnings to complete her studies at UWI,” said Marilyn Sealy, corporate communications and public relations manager, LIME.

She recently became a mother and it must be challenging to balance her fulltime work with studies and motherhood. As she continues to strive for excellence in all her endeavours, we wish her every success.
