(UPDATED!) SINCKLER POSTPONES ‘TIL 2 P.M. NOW – DISCUSSION ON THE ECONOMY 27th OCTOBER
Barbados’ economy is to come under the microscope this afternoon of Monday 27th October, when Minister of Finance and Economic Affairs, Christopher Sinckler, will hold a delayed press conference in the Cabinet Office’s Conference Room, Government Headquarters, Bay Street, St. Michael, now scheduled to run at 2:00 p.m.
The embattled Cabinet Minister is under much heat still for the hastily drawn up Municipal Solid Waste Tax which many Barbadians are loathe to pay, yet are being forced (illegally, according to the Bar Association) to pay it if they want a Land Tax receipt
Minister Sinckler is due to make a statement and then field questions from journalists, it was originally slated for earlier today. (IDB/BGIS)
