HBO PRESENTS ITS OCTOBER MOVIE PREMIERES IN THE CARIBBEAN: The Conjuring

HBO brings viewers in the Caribbean another month of comedy, horror, romance and adventure with exclusive movie premieres each Saturday in October, including The Conjuring, The Hangover Part III, The Spectacular Now and Planes.

Based on real events from 1971, the supernatural horror film The Conjuring (Oct. 4) tells the haunting story of Carolyn and Roger Perron (Lili Taylor and Ron Livingston), a couple who moves to an old farmhouse in Harrisville, Rhode Island, with their five daughters. Directed by James Wan.

Strange and inexplicable events begin happening, and as supernatural forces continue manifesting, the family seeks help from paranormal investigators Ed and Lorraine Warren (Patrick Wilson and Vera Farmiga), who find themselves in the worst case they’ve worked on as they confront a powerful demonic entity.
