Columbus Business Solutions (CBS) supporting Barbadian businesses

With two new advanced technologies soon to be released, Columbus Business Solutions (CBS), the business arm of Columbus Telecommunications Barbados Limited, is setting the foundation by supporting the local business industry in Barbados.

As a sponsor of the Barbados International Business Association (BIBA), members of the CBS team attended at the week-long International Business Week, not only to show the telecommunication company’s support but to explore ways to use communication and computer technology to reach markets, increase efficiencies, and enhance new businesses that take advantage of the networks.

Vice President, CBS Eastern Caribbean, Jaggernauth Dass said, “The telecommunications industry is changing rapidly. Voice and data networks are converging, customers are demanding more than connectivity solutions. That is why we are here. We want businesses to know that we can facilitate their needs, from Colocation to Business Continuity to Data Center services. And they never have to worry about the connectivity, we provide it as part of the solution.” He added, “Consumer behaviour is changing ever more rapidly. Greater economic pressure is compelling enterprises to make their business processes more cost efficient. CBS can facilitate this at every level.”

CBS officially launched in June of this year offering new age connectivity and IT solutions, to meet the need of any business in Barbados.
