THREE MOVE UP AT GODDARD ENTERPRISES
Three managers at the Goddard Enterprises Ltd (GEL) group have recently moved into senior executive positions. Cheryl Senhouse is the new General Manager at Hanschell Inniss Ltd., Desmond Layne, the new General Manager at Goddard Shipping and Tours while Lanello Green has moved into the position of Group Internal Audit Manager at GEL Head Office.
An avid reader and a lover of movies, Cheryl speaks of working on balancing the demands of work and family stating that she is “excited and looking forward to successfully navigating the challenges inherent to running a large organisation in this dynamic environment.”
That experience exposed him to a diverse number of industries and business processes and he was able to interact with multiple cultures thus preparing him for managing this service company that deals with people from around the world. He labels himself as ‘a big sports enthusiast‘ and states that football is ‘his greatest joy‘.
His new job entails the evaluation of policies, business systems, processes and procedures of internal control of companies throughout the Goddard Group by way of an evaluation of the performance of both financial and operational audits. In addition, he leads and manages audit projects and reports the findings to the Audit Committee of the Board. He gives credit for his success to ‘great bosses‘ who have coached and mentored him over the years at the various GEL companies where he worked. A love for exercising and watching movies are two of the ways in which Lanello is able to relax
All three executives speak of enjoying time spent with their families and strong family support as playing a major role in their success.
In summing up the promotions Human Resources Director of the Goddard group Jennifer Bradshaw-Wood, complimented the new appointees and added “Goddard Enterprises has superb personnel who work with us and it is wonderful to see them continue to rise to challenges and move up the ladder at our various subsidiaries.
