St. Kitts’ premier resort raises epicurean expectations with new additions to the F&B Leadership Team
St. Kitts Marriott Resort & The Royal Beach Casino is pleased to announce the appointment of three new members to its Food & Beverage department. Director of Food & Beverage Joseph Niemeier, Executive Chef Mark Quitney and Food & Beverage Operations Manager Diego Lemasson have joined the staff in overseeing daily operations.
Starting his career in hospitality more than 30 years ago, Director of Food & Beverage Joseph Niemeier has experience in every facet of the culinary and hotel management industry. A longtime member of the Marriott family, Niemeier most recently served as Director of Food & Beverage overseeing Indianapolis Marriott Downtown where he led his team to rank within the top 5% in overall satisfaction within the Marriott brand.
Recipient of multiple industry accolades including Marriott International Executive Chef of the Year in 2007 and 2012, Chef Quitney will undertake the responsibility of directing culinary operations of the resort’s eight restaurants including its three signature outlets, in-room dining and the resort’s private catering and banquet functions.
Food & Beverage Operations Manager Diego Lemasson has developed expansive knowledge of hospitality management during his decade-long career. Most recently serving as an integral part of the leadership team at the Marriott Paris Charles de Gaulle, Lemasson brings an international and multicultural perspective to the resort’s day-to-day operations of restaurants and lounges.
Under the direction of Niemeier, the team aims to combine each of their unique talents to raise already high expectations property-wide, beginning with the introduction of a new menu at the resort’s recently renovated Bohemia Beach Bar.
