Victor Mooney of Queens, New York left Aguadilla City on Wednesday, September 24, 2014 for a 130 mile row to the Dominican Republic.

After a few days of rest, he will continue his row towards New York.

Mr. Mooney began his row from the coast of Africa on 19th February 2014 in memory of his brother who died of AIDS and to encourage voluntary HIV testing.

The rower was greeted on arrival last week by the Mayor of Aguadilla, Puerto Rico, Carlos Mendez Martinez.
