JAMAICAN CHARGED FOR OFFENCES: ATTORNEY RESISTS ARREST, FACES LAW

Police have charged Marlon Markland Gordon 44 years of Glen Acres, St. George, for the offences of:

  • Assault occasioning actual bodily harm to a Police officer;
  • Insulting language;
  • 3 counts of resisting police in the execution of their duty
On Sunday August 31st, 2014, about 5:00 am Police officers attended a report at the Plae, Rising Sun, Christ Church, where a fete was being held and Gordon, an attorney-at-law, was in attendance. When being arrested for an offence, he resisted a police officer and other police officers assisted in subduing him. A female police officer had to seek medical attention.

He made an appearance at the District B Magistrates Court on Monday 1st September 2014.
