The event - Breitling, the inventor of the modern chronograph and the authentic partner of aviation. Will introduce the "Runway 14 Collection" showcasing the new exclusive models just launched at the Basel World watch fair this year in Switzerland.
The event – Breitling, the inventor of the modern chronograph and the authentic partner of aviation. Will introduce the “Runway 14 Collection” showcasing the new exclusive models just launched at the Basel World watch fair this year in Switzerland.

Breitling is also one of the rare companies to produce its own mechanical chronograph movements, entirely developed and manufactured in its workshops. This family owned business is also one of the last remaining independent Swiss watch brands.

And it was done with flair and pizzazz, reflecting the brand's love to be bold and different. Almost 200 invited guests gathered for this exclusive event. The presentation was done in the form of a fashion show featuring beautiful models , clad in Agua Bendita hand made swimsuits from Columbia. Not even the rain could dampen the enthusiasm of the guests with the lively Salsa music playing in the background.

Breitling, as one of the last family-owned companies, maintains its strong roots to aviation, while providing the best quality, service and technology to its loyal customer. It is an extremely well-received brand and doing very well in Barbados.

Breitling specialists moved among the guests with Ipads so that a close-up look was possible at any watch that caught their eye. From there guests were invited into the Breitling Boutique where special Boutique Editions and Boutique Preview models were on display.

In addition, the night was extra special as 2014 is the 130th anniversary of watch making for Breitling, paying homage to the company’s longstanding ties to aviation. Special models such as the Chronomat Airborne, that celebrates the 30th anniversary of the pilot’s chronograph and the beautiful Transocean Chronograph were a boutique preview that would not be available anywhere in the world for at least another couple of months!
