SUSPECTED MURDER AT BONNETS: 2 OTHERS TREATED FOR GUN-RELATED INJURIES
Police are investigating a shooting incident at Bonnets Housing Area, Brittons Hill, St. Michael which resulted in three males receiving gunshot wounds with one succumbing to his injury and dying at the QEH.
{RBPF FILE IMAGE – DEMO ONLY} Dead is Dario Ricardo Lloyd, 20 years, of Reece Road, Brittons Hill, St. Michael. The other persons are: Lerron Mottley, 24 years, who underwent surgery and Makia Knight 14 years who is receiving medical attention.
About 9.45 pm on July 14th, 2014, while at Bonnets Housing Area, the three victims were among a group of persons gathered watching and playing dominoes, when a number of persons approached and shot at the group.
Members of the group scattered and afterwards, the three victims were found suffering from injuries about their bodies and were taken to the QEH by private vehicles. Investigations are continuing.
