According to both Sunday Sun and the online Nation – It’s official. Millions of dollars were spent for the February 21, 2013 general election.

This was revealed in the final report on the poll by supervisor of elections Angela Taylor which shows just over $2.2 million was spent by the 68 candidates who contested the poll.

And the majority of this, $1 172 239.41, was spent by the candidates of the Opposition Barbados Labour Party (BLP).
